I am now offering a series of workshops aimed at those who would like to improve their photography skills, develop their eye and nurture their style.
Workshops will be held at my property in the beautiful semi-rural outskirts of North-Western Sydney. Mornings will be spent indoors learning new skills, and these will then be practiced in an afternoon of hands-on photography! Finally we will come inside again to take a look at how we have applied what has been learnt.
All workshop participants are encouraged to go home and practice, then submit 4 of their favourite images for analysis. These images will be given an in-depth critique to help you gauge your progress.
For beginners I recommend starting at Level 1 with the Getting It! workshop. This workshop will cover the basics of SLR photography, and is a great way to learn how to get that camera off auto and start producing images you can be proud of.
For those who have a grasp on the basics and are ready to start improving their images, the Level 2 workshop, Nurturing it! will delve further. From interacting with your subjects to scouting locations, eliminating distractions and basic Lightroom processing.
Finally, the Level 3 course Using It! is aimed at those people who are considering going pro at some time in the future. In this course we will look at a real client session from start to finish. This course is mainly hands-on and you will learn how to conduct a family session from first contact, shooting, through to processing of the images using Lightroom.
